Drip Guide
Our drip guide is the common multiple pour method.
For drip bags
Please check the amount of beans written on the back of the drip bag. We have drip bags in 10g, 12g, and 15g sizes.
The brew ratio is 12, so
For 10g, use 120g of hot water
For 12g, use 144g of hot water
For 15g, use 180g of hot water.
If you have a scale with a timer, use it.
If you don't have one, you can use a timer on your smartphone.
First, add twice the amount of water as the amount of beans and steam them. Wait 30 seconds after adding the beans.
After 30 seconds, add three times the amount of water as the amount of beans, then wait for 60 seconds.
Once the 60 seconds are up, add three times the amount of water as the amount of beans, then wait until the 90 seconds are up.
Once the 90 seconds are up, add twice the amount of water as the amount of beans, and wait until the 120 seconds are up.
Once the 120 seconds have passed, add twice as much hot water as the amount of beans and wait until they have completely fallen.
* The key is to extract the coffee little by little, rather than pouring in too much water at once . If it's difficult to adjust the amount of water, such as if your kettle has a wide opening, you can transfer the water to a measuring cup and drip it to make it more stable. If you don't have a timer or scale, you can enjoy delicious coffee by simply extracting the coffee in small amounts multiple times.
*The water temperature should be around 95°C for light roasts, and the darker the roast, the lower the water temperature should be.
