挽き売りの挽き目指示を細かくできるようにしました

It is now possible to specify the grind size for ground goods in more detail.

Our bean grinding option is an additional cost, based on the idea of beneficiary burden. Instead, we use a solid commercial grinder, the ditting 804 LAB SWEET, and we have devised a way to allow customers to choose the grind according to their needs. The ditting has recently been upgraded to the 807 series, but the main updates have been the mechanism (it now supports 50/60Hz) and design, and the blades used have not changed.

Now, let's get back to the main topic.

With our latest update , we can now specify the grind size in more detail . The numbers written on the grind size menu indicate the grind size of the ditting grinder used. Therefore, even if the store uses the same grinder, you can specify the same or similar grind size. (Recently, Starbucks has also been using ditting grinders.)

The extended grind instructions are as follows:

10: Medium rough (French press, long cold brew)
9: Medium rough (French press, short cold brew)
8: Medium (French press/general drip)
7: Medium-fine (cone-shaped coffee such as Drip V60 and Aeropress)
6: Medium-fine (for slow drip, Aeropress)
5: Fine grind (strong Aeropress)
4: Fine grind (strong Aeropress)
3: Extra fine (strong espresso/Aeropress)

Other than these, there are also 2, 11, and 12, but I didn't include them because I don't think they will be used very often. Of course, we can also accommodate requests for 3.5, so if you write in the comments section when ordering that you would like 3 but would like 3.5, we will be happy to accommodate you.

For drip, I recommend 7 or 8. If you don't know what to do, 7 is fine.

The grind size for Aeropress varies greatly depending on the recipe. Stronger recipes are the grind size you should use when you want to produce something that resembles espresso with the Aeropress.
