About upcoming AeroPress products

Aeropress announced a new product at SCAA (the American coffee trade fair). It will be a while before it can be delivered to Japan, as it will be subject to inspection under the Food Sanitation Act.

Aeropress has had a price increase due to changes in the packaging, so I was wondering if there would be any changes. There are three new products.

First up is this. It's a clear colored Aeropress. It's made of Tritan. It's priced $10 more than the regular Aeropress, so the retail price in Japan is likely to exceed 10,000 yen.

The change to Tritan may change the temperature of hot water that can be used, but the basic usage and parts remain the same.

Aeropress will be releasing genuine metal filters! Our store also carries standard metal filters and Japanese-made filters, but now that genuine products are being released, we have more options!

The last product is a filter holder with a valve. The era of genuine inverted filter has finally arrived!
This is compatible with all AeroPresses, so AeroPress Go users can also enjoy valve extraction.

Moreover, in addition to the genuine metal filter, paper filters can also be used. Currently, FELLOW products have valves, but they have the drawback of producing a small amount of fine powder, so some people use paper filters in addition to them. Being able to use genuine paper filters as is is a big advantage.

These are the new products. We will update the information such as price after receiving the release from the distributor.

Even if these new products are released, we will not stop selling the related products that we have been selling until now, because coffee can express infinite flavors by having a wide variety of options.
