Sun Coffee is a producers' cooperative consisting of about 20 farms in the San Antonio area of Minas Geiras, Brazil. They are particular about the timing of harvesting, harvesting when the fruit is fully ripe and has a high moisture content, preventing the harvest of immature fruit. As a result, they can skip some of the sorting process and go straight to the drying process.
The taste is truly Brazilian! The flavors of nuts and chocolate are impressive, and there is a strong sweetness. We especially recommend dark roasting. You can enjoy it as a drip coffee with a medium-dark roast, or as an espresso with a dark roast. Iced coffee is also delicious.

About green coffee beans
The green coffee beans we handle are specialty coffee with established traceability through coffee trading companies and agents ( please see this article for the requirements for specialty coffee ).
Usually, beans are traded for commercial use, so the trading unit is very large, and it is not possible to trade under an individual name. We sell these beans in smaller quantities. We also roast and sell the same beans.
Foreign bodies
When dividing the beans, we try to remove any foreign objects that catch our eye, but sometimes, for example, fibers from burlap bags get mixed in with the raw beans. Removing them completely would increase our costs, so we ask for your understanding that we may have to do so to a certain extent.
Regarding defective beans, we also have a discretion, so please use the number of defects as a guide only. For some varieties with many defective beans, we may increase the quantity.
Before roasting your own coffee, please check thoroughly for any foreign matter. We also recommend hand-picking.
Packaging Information
Our green beans are packaged in 500g portions. They are sealed in plastic bags and sent with some of the air removed. Unlike so-called vacuum packs, the beans are left with some room to move around. This is to prevent damage during shipping.
Storage
Our green beans are produced in sizes that can be used up in one batch, but if you buy 500g and use 250g at a time, for example, when storing them after opening, please transfer them to a storage bag with a zip lock and store them in a cool, dark place.
