Notification regarding the addition of free shipping conditions for coffee beans

The rise in coffee bean prices has been unstoppable, and at one point the price of commodities has even surpassed the price of specialty coffee. In the world of futures, not only is supply and demand a matter of competition, but various speculations also intersect, so just because something like this has happened doesn't mean there is a clear answer.

Now, the price of coffee beans has been rising every time we purchase them, so we have been adjusting the price each time we purchase them and not notifying customers each time. However, we have come to the point where we need to introduce a more drastic cost-cutting measure, which is regarding shipping costs.

Our store has always covered the shipping costs for our coffee beans, regardless of the order quantity. Although the price of Click Post, which we frequently use, does not seem to be increasing at the moment, there are increasing cases where the purchase price of coffee beans increases by 1.5 times with each purchase, and we believe that it is time for us to reconsider how we sell our beans.

Therefore, we will add the following free shipping conditions.

For coffee beans and raw coffee beans, if the purchase price is 1,500 yen or more (tax included), we will cover the shipping costs, but if the purchase price is less than 1,500 yen, the customer will be required to cover part of the shipping costs.

The cost is 180 yen.

We will also clarify how we will handle the situation if the beans we sent are returned due to reasons such as an unknown address or not being received.

If the product is returned for personal reasons, the customer will be responsible for the actual shipping costs for re-sending the product.
If you cancel your order without resending it, we will not be able to offer a refund as the coffee beans are made to order and cannot be resold. We have never had a situation where an order of beans was cancelled since we opened, so we don't think it will happen again in the future, but we are adding this just in case.
We will also update our shipping policy shortly.
