Coffee bean prices have been revised
Share
Our coffee bean pricing policy is to "appropriately reflect costs while ensuring business continuity."
We have been changing our prices from time to time to reflect market value, but we felt that we needed to make a bold move, so we decided to lower the prices of beans that cost over 2,000 yen in particular. We have adjusted the amount of reduction so that the higher the price, the greater the reduction. This has made it even easier to purchase expensive beans like El Paraiso.
On the other hand, we had been able to maintain the prices of low-priced beans by making good use of the profits we could make from these beans, but this was no longer possible. Therefore, we raised the price of our cheapest coffee, COFFEE QUEST, by 100 yen. We also raised the prices of Premium Chocolat and Nicaragua Santa Ana SHG by 50 yen. These prices are for 180g.
Especially with low-priced beans, the cost ratio is very high, and although the profit from selling 180g is only a few hundred yen, because the beans are roasted to order, when labor costs are taken into account, the company is in the red.
So we thought that by lowering the prices of our higher-priced beans, we could secure more orders and increase the number of beans shipped per labor cost, which is how we came to revise our prices.
In total, we have expanded the 450g size to all beans, and for products with excess stock, we have added a new 1kg option. The 1kg option means you can buy 1kg for the price of four 180g items (720g). The 280g option is also a great deal.
This is recommended not only for those who drink a lot with their family, but also for those who want to buy beans in bulk for a small event.
