Nitrogen gas replacement packaging begins

An effective way to maintain the freshness of coffee beans is to replace oxygen with nitrogen when packaging. This prevents the oils that have seeped out from oxidizing, and allows the flavor to be maintained for a long time. This is only to maintain the quality until the beans are opened, and in our case, it is because we want to minimize deterioration of the quality until the beans are packaged and delivered to the customer.
A full-scale nitrogen replacement device is quite expensive, and requires the installation of nitrogen gas cylinders. We considered installing this, but since " both the gas replacement and the degassing process are invalid once the container is opened," we decided to try a simple method. The method is to blow in food-grade nitrogen gas before sealing, and then seal it together with the air that has a high nitrogen content. Then we perform the degassing process.
The benefit to customers is that even if they start drinking it a while after they buy it, the flavor will be better because the oxidation has not progressed as much as with normal sealing. A small amount of oxygen may get in through the gas vent, so please close the zipper when you receive it.
After opening, you can store it in a ziplock bag, but if possible, we recommend using a vacuum canister such as FELLOW ATMOS . If you are not going to drink it for a long time, we also recommend freezing it.
We will continue to strive to provide the highest quality products possible at the lowest possible cost.
