Notice of price revision (price reduction!) for direct trade beans
Share
We have decided to lower the prices of the direct trade beans we handle in order to make them even more accessible to everyone. Our store does not have a policy of actively holding sales, but we do intend to actively lower prices through corporate efforts.
Direct trade beans are different from beans that go through importers such as trading companies, and allow the store to have a stronger say in the beans they purchase. Importers carefully taste the beans they sell before deciding, but in direct trade, a curator who coordinates the farms plays that role. This allows them to purchase unique beans that are not available from regular importers, or beans that offer great value for money. On the other hand, the price can be a little high, which can make some stores hesitant to buy.
So, in order to make it feel familiar to people, we decided to make it affordable.
The price reduction is scheduled to start in April, but from today, the price has been lowered under the sale label. The price of raw beans has also been reduced. We are also introducing some simple beans, so please take this opportunity to purchase them.
Kenya Rockbern AA
This is the first direct trade bean we decided to handle. Kenya is often described as having a strong, punchy flavor, but even with a light roast, you can enjoy the floral aroma and flavor.

Ethiopia WETE Ambera
This is a washed refined Ethiopian wild variety. Natural coffee tends to be preferred in Ethiopia, but Washed allows you to enjoy the unique characteristics of Ethiopia in a cleaner way. This coffee also has a flavor reminiscent of the scent of flowers, and can be enjoyed with light to dark roasts.
450g: 3300→2700
180g: 1650→1350
90g: 900→750
China Yunnan AA
These beans allow you to feel the terroir of the beans in many ways. Terroir refers to something that comes from the environment in which it was grown, but when you drink it lightly, you can feel the bitterness and aroma of tea. In fact, about half of the people who tasted it said they felt "oolong tea". The manager of the store often drinks it as a cafe latte.
