Change automatic credit card authorization to manual authorization
Share
As a measure to prevent fraudulent credit card use, our store has implemented a system in which customers must purchase numbered tickets for high-priced items, but this has not been very effective, and fraudulent use has led to customers foolishly buying large amounts of different products at once, so we have decided to take measures at the root of the problem.
That's manual approval.
Normally, when a customer makes a purchase, the order is automatically approved. If the order is fraudulent, the store will have to pay the fees incurred for approval. This time, we will switch to manual approval, and the store will approve the order only after evaluating the risk of fraudulent orders in advance.
From the store's perspective, it means a slightly increased amount of manual approval work, but we decided to switch because it means we won't get annoyed every time a fraudulent order comes in, and we can introduce more unique, high-priced items to our customers.
There is no need for you to take any special action.
